Trail Ride with Samiii Today was mostly about letting Sami get used to my seat, letting out some of her pent-up energy, and seeing how she would react to strange surroundings. Sami easily figured out my cues, and she trotted along the trail with fresh energy. Pretty quickly, I could feel her sttling in to my seat and somewhat relaxing, which was amazing! As for pent-up energy, boy did she have some. Thank god she only resorted to small galloping phases and no bucking. Lastly, she was a little hesitant when we had just entered the trail. After all, there are so many new sounds and smells! I won't go into details, but it took a bit of time for her skitterish energy to get used to it all. Over all, great ride and much improvement!
