!! This project is not about the ESSA spammer but the Emotional Support Stuffed Animal community. If you don't know what an ESSA is or want to ask some ESSA handlers questions, you can find your answers here: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/51733515/ Hi. I was gonna do the typing in the vector editor and code but I'm currently on mobile so that would be a pain. Anyway, as the title suggests, I'm proving some stereotypes and misinformation about the ESSA (Emotional Support Stuffed Animal) community wrong. Let's get this thing started!! Myth #1 - ESSAs are only for little kids. Wrong! ESSAs are used by people of all ages. In fact I actually see more people above the age of 12 with ESSAS than people younger than 12. There's no age limit to needing a little support. Myth #2 - ESSAs need to be douglas dogs. ESSA stands for Emotional Support Stuffed Animal, not Emotional Support Douglas Dog! Any plush, regardless of brand, species, size, quality, ext can be an ESSA if you want it to be. Douglas dogs just tend to be the most popular. Myth #3 - You need to have depression/anxiety/other mental disorder to have an ESSA. ESSAs are for comfort. While people experiencing these are more likley to have ESSAS because of more need for them, they are ultimitley for anyone and everyone who wants or needs them! I can't think of any other myths, but there are probably more that I haven't thought of so if you think of something please let me know in the comments and I will add it.
