JEJU air 2216 Survivors:2 Dead:179 Cause: As the plane was preparing to land ATC gave a warning about birds and The 737 went around, and got hit by the birds during the go around. The birds damaged the hydraulics causing the gear to not go down when the pilots tried to lower them, at the time the gear would take to long to lower manually so they went for a belly landing. The flaps also did not work causing the plane to touchdown at a higher speed than normal. only one of the engines entered thrust reversers(because the pilots shut off the other engine thinking it was the one that was damaged). the plane didn't slow down until it reached half the runway causing it to outrun into a concrete barrier.
