"So why did you spare me, you could have abandoned me to the bear?" Medusa asked curious. "Well thats why I exist, there were others with me but there all d34d now" Marie said. "What happened to them?" Medusa asked Marie wondering. "Mostly from what happened before stuff became more peaceful" Marie said not giving a lot of information. "What was it that happened?" Medusa said wanting more information. "I dont like to talk about it" Marie Answered. "Wait was this place a village, before everyone d13d?" Medusa asked. "No it was sort of a base" Marie said. It seemed like there was something Marie was holding back. There was something strange about how Marie hadn't given a lot of information."Is there other people there?" Medusa asked Marie who was leading the way."No not anymore there used to be" Marie said in a sad tone. "Did i say something wrong?" Medusa asked Marie as tears started rolling down her face. "No no really, it was just how everyone d13d" Marie said continuing to walk. "So what happened to them?" Medusa asked curiously. "Well its a long story" Medusa said. "Well we have some time" Medusa said wanting to know what really happened. Marie sighed before speaking, "Well the base isn't just any type of base, it was made for a reason". "That reason was to close the portal that let the monsters in this world" she said. So she was one of the ones who closed the portal, she should tell her about Carnis. "our group was around since the beging of the doom, witch is what the time was called when the monsters were pouring into this world" Marie continued. So does that mean she would need to find more people to close the portal if it opened again. "At first we didn't know it was a portal that the monsters were coming through, witch allowed them to replace what we k1lled. "The Original group was called the beast containment unit, It was a part of the country's military. However just a month in the monsters had destroyed the government of the country" Medusa was informed by Marie. "However when the government went down so did the military, witch meant the beast containment unit was shut down, when the beast was still alive. There were still people from the unit that decided they wanted to destroy the beast for what they did to the country" Marie said. So a free history lesson just what medusa wanted. "at the time they found out gvns did not work on the monsters, but instead weapons with blades and even arrows were able to harm the monsters" So thats why the revolver Asuka had was the first time she saw a gvn. The people who chose the base were in now because it was the most hidden one, that was available. That's where we trained slept and did everything. At that time the group was named the exterminators. However soon after that most of the original people from the beast containment unit had been killed while fighting the monsters" Marie explained. "That's when the newer people changed the name to The Shadow Warriors, however some people already feared that the monsters would bring the end of the world and they joined us. We were doing pretty good in the fight other than the fact they just kept coming from the portal. almost soon after it was getting harder to find people who will join, in fact finding people in general was hard. The monsters had destroyed half of the cities. That's when we started making small towns that would raise their kids to fight. but we kept losing people" Marie said. This was a lot of information "soon after we found out about the portal, and found out the way to close it. if you spilt bl00d on the ring of the portal, and d13d within 3 days the portal would open or close". Medusa flinched at the new fact, it was that easy for Carnis to open the portal. " We all decided to go to the portal that was opened, that day was called the final darkness, the days were we fought to make it to the portal. Many of us d13d there But many of us were able to reach the portal." "The part were we closed it was the hardest" More tears filling Maries eyes.
