i LOVE rodolfo's aperial as a base. it has great ideas. but the equivalent numberblocks, while great, could be a lot cooler and more consistent. so here's my reimagining of them. 1-9: personality mostly doesn't change, but 5 leans less into motherly nature and is more about her rockstar stuff 7: ok i lied he changes a bit. he's as lucky as ever, but he's now not as into rainbows. the goal here was consistency. in the og aperial, 7 and 9 were multi-colored... only for everyone up to zar (except eil) to be one-color. i don't want 7 and 9 to look too special or anything. he'd have his rainbow hairs become a cool necklace. he also talks of days of the week more often. 9: one shade of grey. personality doesn't change, but his nose is fine. he now has a pet square cat (because cats and 9 lives). A: like other fanmade A's, she likes bowling (10 pins) and space (multiple of 5). she's very athletic and acrobatic, but doesn't lean into it much. B: she's a football lover as usual, but in the same shape as my el. she and 7 would be great friends (because their names rhyme) (and they'd probably get shipped a lot). C: she introduces super rectangles and has a clock in her design. she's not meditative, but she shows more of an interest in her divisions and time. D: he calls his shape a "spiky rhombus" (that's probably gonna be easy to understand). he's unlucky and clumsy, often splitting into his number bonds as he gets injured. E: a fortnight is this many days, so he's a construction worker (because "fort"night). but wait, doesn't fortnight sound like fourteen? wouldn't this be rather decimal-centric? well, my idea is that this base system is established after terms like that were devised. roman numerals would be the same, as would celsius scale and the like. anyways, eil's double luck helps him stay safe when he's doing some dangerous jobs. F: like decimal 15 but with less secrecy and hiding. she would, like other fanmade F's, make some reference to slide puzzles. G: she loses the square party thing, but is still a very excited and humorous square. she's four fours, and has a four in the middle! kinda like my do-four, but... she also shows an interest in computers (hexadecimal (or golimal), 16-bit computing, etc.). H: a writer like do-five, but his writing also extends to proper art. he finds out what he wants to do thanks to haikus, but runs with that idea. I: he's like my do-six. he's like decimal 18 but instead of impatience, he focuses on other silly behaviors of his (which can often be fast). he's a very talented and flashy rectangle, and often wears a tie (because he's a common age of adulthood) J: she's abstract. she still does crazy shapes (she would briefly look up to ide before going her own way, just like 19), and she has no "main" arrangement. she frequently appears in an unusual arrangement. she's fond of thinking outside the box. this can extend to the infamous wall-corner shape. she also likes astronomy because of the James Webb Space Telescope (which uses a centered hexagonal arrangement of 19 hexagons). K: he's a slow-paced rectangle. he likes to take things at a casual pace, giving himself time to look around (because 20/20 vision). he also assumes a rather major role (primarily because he's one "score," but it could also be seen as a nod to ardam). he has gloves and shoes! L: len is kwen's sister. len is more like my do-nine, a passionate rainbow entertainer. she can split into one to six, or even all the divisors of 1 to 5. M: he mostly stays like decimal 22, but he has a different shape. similar to do-dek, he can be seen running around a violet circular field (22/7 is an approximation of pi, and it doesn't change much in other bases). N: he introduces prime numbers as a concept (he's the first prime to not be a twin prime (other than 2)). he doesn't have the whole "happy being me" thing anymore. he also occasionally gets into sciency stuff like how 9 is sometimes a magician (because the amount of chromosome pairs). O: super-duper. number of hours in a day. has a digital clock on herself. P: maintains the interest in colorful patterns, but even moreso. she's a square and even a spiky rhombus, which is square-like on its side. Q: might actually make relevant to the latin alphabet. he's a historian who likes letter ciphers. english is the most commonly spoken earthly language (first, second, or otherwise). not trying to glaze it, but quole would've been boring if i didn't include this letter stuff. he's also double unlucky, and he's cautious. he's also also very book-smart (because letters), often willing to share facts with others! R: just decimal 27. S: very neat, almost to a fault. it's like she needs everything to be perfect... (cough cough perfect number). T: like two-do-five, very technical and leaps around a lot. he's also an electrician (because copper). may become friends with upe (who is MUUUUCH later) because of how i treat aperial primes. you'll see...
U: this is unbe, not upe. upe is a million zillion miles away. unbe flexes how he can split into twos, threes, and fives! he's all about prime numbers and how numbers can split into them. he may even show off a cuboid (2*3*5) shape! V: calendar guy. he's mostly decimal 31 again. W: just decimal 32, talking about halving over and over all the way down to 1. X: mostly focuses on the handball thing of decimal 33. she can be a bit of a prankster and trickster sometimes. she likes being "silly." Y: kinda like decimal 34 (but he and heven don't have paint splats and aren't AS much into patinting). he leans into symmetry and emphasizes nature a lot. he may also do something with the fibonacci sequence, or at least hint at it. Z: has a lot of decimal 35's traits and design elements. but he also shows off being a step squad squad! exund and onward will be more interesting, probably.
