Hi, and welcome to SNN, your go to news station for the latest on scratch.mit.edu . I'm (somebody) reporting from Scratch News Network. Coming up next on SNN, a full report on Prize givers and Scratch Camp 2026. A prize giver is actually not allowed on Scratch. People often use them as a person who gives prizes to scratchers in competitions. But what's wrong? Scratch Team actually doesn't want follows / lovs / favs as prizes. Well, it is not fun without prizes, right? But you can make characters , give shoutouts as prizes. However, the Scratch Team hasn't been enforcing this rule very strictly so it became practice that each competition needs PGs. After a short break, we'll be talking about Scratch Camp 2026 wrapping up. (Play ads) Welcome back to SNN. Scratch Camp 2026 themed 'Adventures in Time' wraps up after 3 whole weeks of camping and a teaser week. Scratchers look forward in Scratch Camp next year. After a short break, we're going to have an interview with (username).
