NOTE BEFORE READING: I'm not calling out anyone in a bad way, nor am I trying to make anyone feel bad. This is an opinionated rant, and I also don't have all of the information needed for an objective perspective. ---- Why is it guys when some of you make rants about serious things, you guys give your entire project an entire aesthetic or cute look that’s satisfying to the eye? And I’m not saying you guys make it look bad or anything. After all, it’s the point that you guys made to make it look appealing. But what confuses me is that you guys COMBINE that stuff with some serious topic. Usually one that shouldn't be taken lightly. I’m not sure if I’m overthinking it or anything, but it just doesn’t feel right. To me (In my opinion), it feels like the main point of what you are sharing is to satisfy people with some nice looking gif or idk, while sharing what you want to share. That last statement made no sense, but just try to see what I'm thinking. I honestly once took a project talking about less rights for a specific group of people at first to be A JOKE. No, I'm not stupid or heartless. My volume was muted, so I couldn't hear the actual point of the project, so all I saw was a cute collage of stuff with a gif. I couldn't even understand it until I had to LOOK in the project and see what was actually going on. That, you fellow person, does not sound like it works. So, in conclusion, I'm not forcing anyone to drop that trend of aesthetics, but just understand that adding that can risk dropping them immediate understanding of the intentions the project you made serves. I'm open to other sides of this (as in, I want you guys to explain to me why you guys do that, since I'm sure there is a reason besides "making it good looking like your other projects"), so if you feel the need to, RESPECTFULLY comment your thoughts.
