If you dont want to animate a lot you can just take one part, but if you feel ambitious, you can have as many as you want Or you could just be a backup - but if there are parts open I encourage you to take one rather than instantly choosing backup I made the parts short on purpose so that it's easy to take multiple. It may look like theres a lot of parts but feel free to take more (Theres a lot of short parts in the bridge, near the end) - You don't have to take consecutive parts. You can take 7 and 19 if you want (as an example) - I'm okay with any style of animation, in scratch or outside of scratch If you're using clones make sure to delete them at the end of the part Try to keep your part in just one sprite - When posting your part, make it a remix of this project, it makes things easier for me - READ THE LYRICS before animating. Few things are more painful than having the wrong lyrics in a map part/amv - Use the palette colours!! THE PALETTE CHANGES for different parts of the song, just to go with the mood changes - try to stick to the colours of your part generally, but some variation is fine Purples and reds is for when the song gets more of an intense/heavy feeling, blues are for the "lighter" parts - Who I will let into this MAP: I will let most people have a part. It would be awesome as well if you connected your part with the theme of the song You don't have to, an abstract part could be really cool as well - If you run out of ideas, give it a week or so, see if you can get some inspiration from other places. e.g. other animations, the world around you If you're just demotivated or burnt out, try working with it a bit, give it a try at least. if you find you can't continue, post a wip and a backup will take your place Theme of the song: The song "Redecorate" by twenty one pilots is about wondering how you would want your memory to live on The song was inspired by a situation where a family, having lost their son, kept his room exactly the same as they had left it for years, trying to keep the memory of their child. The key question to ask here is: If you were to be separated from everyone you loved How would you want them to remember you So, while you're still here, still alive, cherish every moment Make memories with the people you love Don't stay trapped in your head forever That's the general, surface level theme of this song, and what it means to me (lets see if this map gets anywhere lol)
