A better window system and app standard than Ametrine WM and Ametrine App Standard. 850 blocks, all the features and none of the bugs. Seaway is specifically designed for scalability and effortless app assembly while keeping efficiency and simplicity in mind. This has all of the features of Ametrine's WM (and more), just simplified and optimised. DEVELOPMENT FEATURES: - Common code, like the 'position and scale' and 'set window layer' blocks, have been moved out of the element's behaviour, making behaviour code is smaller. - The system is more centralised, unlike Ametrine WS's distributed code. - All layering is decided by a central list rather than per-app layering. - Elements that are created on boot are decided by list - App data is decided by a list UI DESIGN FEATURES: - If an element should look the same in light and dark mode, you don't need to create two costumes. - Support for more than 2 themes. - Easier layering. USER FEATURES: - Drag the top of a window to move it. - Drag designed to avoid awkward window positions. - True fullscreen with hiding taskbar. - Customisation settings built-in.
SCROLL DOWN FOR LAYERING FIX EXPLANATION Mainly inspired by the Ametrine WM but without the problems. Colours from Ametrine. Some ideas from Matt-38's Fast. There are settings variables for window colour and transparency in the project, check them out. Layering has been fixed for good! Now every element is in the 'SW Element Layers' list and ordered by layer. The stuff at the end will be more foward than at the back. Every time a window is opened, dragged or closed, the list is reordered so the elements of the focused window are moved to the end of the list.
