I got this idea for a WCRP About 3-4 clans but with a twist of actual genetics. (Abyssclan, Horizonclan, Ruinclan, Wildsclan) ——— You don’t have to know cat genetics for this rp but a basic understanding of it or terminology would be helpful When making litters you’ll have to go through either I. Figuring out the genetics of the potential kits yourself (Only do this if you do have a understanding of cat genetics please) II. Have I figure out the genetics for you Once your given the genetic code you can design the kits based on the code.. To not limit your creative freedom tooo much how you make a (for example) Classic tabby is up to you As long as you can tell the difference Stylizing the stripes, spots, colors, and etc is a-okay. Though in real life a cat with tabby will usualy be brown with the stripes being the true color… yeah just ignore that, it is boring. At the start it’ll probably be donated litters before opening sign ups once the first litter fills Update || 3/09/26 : It has a name now! World’s edge This Rp will take place in a post-apocalypse setting, Humans have wiped themselves out and 100 years later the earth has taken back human society as its own. For these Four clans it was an era of Famine & Plague but now able to form a new start. You can look inside the project for other things if you find this interesting. ——— “Since this rp will use real cat genetics, will npc mates be allowed?” A : Yes!! If you are making a litter but don’t have a mate just make the genetics of your npc and go from there!! Do NOT go by your cats genetics solely “Will there be Dominant White (DW)?” A : to be honest, no Dominant white is Dominant over… everything. So if your cat has dominant white then most likely all of their kittens WILL be fully white and that just doesn’t seem very fair to you and other roleplayers So dominant white will not be used, in a situation where a cat is fully white just chuck it at high white (SS) “Do I have to keep track of my cats genes?” A : yes and no? There will probably be an official linage or family tracker not only to keep track of who is related but also to keep track of genetics so you and we don’t get lost! But it’s good to keep it on hand in case your cat has a litter “I want to learn cat genetics but don’t know where to go!” A : no worries! I suggest many sources to get you the basics of cat genomes My best suggestion is the little hungry warrior on YT I also suggest looking through this studio https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/51422320 I am working on a very basic understanding on the genes of cats so I am also still learning so don’t get upset if you make mistakes here or there ^^
