? Vesper “Vess” Reynard — Hybrid Class Species: Red Fox Name: Vesper “Vess” Reynard Job: Anomaly Response Nurse Class: Field Nurse / Covert Agent Classification: Unofficial hybrid class Shift: Night Shift Status: Hospital Employee — Restricted Clearance ? Her class: Anomaly Response Nurse Vesper's uniform looks mostly like a Head Nurse/Nurse uniform, but she has several pieces of equipment that clearly don't belong to an ordinary medical worker. She was supposedly hired to help treat patients. Her actual assignment is to determine whether those patients are real animals or anomalies pretending to be animals. Her job is basically: Treat the patient. Watch the patient. If something is wrong, don't let it reach the hospital. ? What makes her different? ? Nurse abilities Vesper can: Treat injured patients Stabilize patients with low health Identify unusual symptoms Administer approved medical treatments Calm frightened animals Monitor patients after treatment But she has an additional ability: ?️ Anomaly Detection Her fox senses make her unusually good at noticing things that other employees miss. She can detect: Abnormal breathing Strange movements Incorrect animal behavior Unnatural sounds Fake injuries Anomalous eyes Creatures attempting to imitate staff Her green ring around her amber eyes glows when an anomaly is nearby. ?️ Secret-Agent side This is where she gets interesting. Vesper secretly carries a hospital-issued anomaly scanner disguised as a medical device. To everyone else, it looks like a small veterinary diagnostic tool. It isn't. It can detect unusual biological readings and help identify anomalies that aren't immediately visible. She also has a tiny encrypted radio hidden beneath her uniform. Only a handful of employees know she has it. And Vesper absolutely refuses to explain where she got it. ? If she were an actual playable class CLASS: ANOMALY RESPONSE NURSE Difficulty: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Medical: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Detection: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Combat: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ Stealth: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Speed: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ Passive — Fox Sense Vesper occasionally detects nearby anomalies before they're visually obvious. Ability 1 — Triage Quickly stabilizes an injured animal. Ability 2 — Observe Vesper focuses on a patient and gets subtle visual clues if something about them is anomalous. Ability 3 — Red Flag Marks a suspicious patient for nearby staff. Ultimate — Nightwatch For a short period, Vesper's anomaly detection becomes extremely sensitive, allowing her to identify hidden or disguised threats. Downside: Using Nightwatch causes her vision to become distorted afterward. ? Her personality in-game Vesper would be the employee who's weirdly calm during emergencies. A monster could be standing behind her and she'd just slowly turn around like: “...You aren't supposed to be in this room.” She's not fearless, though. She's actually terrified of anomalies. She's just exceptionally good at hiding it. Around ordinary animals, she's gentle and soft-spoken. Around suspicious patients? Her entire personality changes. Her ears go upright. Her tail stops moving. And she becomes completely silent. That's how the other employees know: Vesper saw something. ? Her relationship with the other classes Class Relationship Intern Protective of them Secretary Often trades information Nurse Works closely with them Head Nurse Respects them enormously Doctor Professional but cautious Surgeon Finds them intimidating Psychologist Doesn't like being analyzed Firefighter Trusts them during emergencies Paramedic Excellent teamwork Security Constantly exchanging anomaly reports Secret Agent Suspiciously familiar with them ?️ And that last one is important. Vesper isn't technically a Secret Agent. But the actual Secret Agents know exactly who she is. She's essentially their medical specialist. If an agent gets injured while dealing with an anomaly, Vesper is the person they bring them to. Which means she's one of the few hospital employees who knows far more about the hospital's secrets than she should. ? Her biggest lore mystery Her employee badge says: VESPER R. REYNARD ANOMALY RESPONSE NURSE But beneath her employee number is a tiny classification: A.R.N. — CLEARANCE: 03 Vesper doesn't know what it means. She once asked Dr. Harlow. He simply looked at her badge and said: “Some things are better left unexamined.” Since then, Vesper has been trying to figure out what A.R.N. actually stands for. And she's beginning to suspect it doesn't mean Anomaly Response Nurse at all. It might mean Anomaly Research Number. Which raises a much worse question: Was Vesper hired to work at Animal Hospital... or was she originally one of the hospital's experiments? ??️
