In the SATIM timeline, the EBS is created in 1970 instead of 1963. Not only that, but the system lasts until 2008. Sometime during 2000, the EBS was essentially retrofitted with technology used by the current EAS. (Also, the SATIM US's original borders are being retconned and changed so that Seattle and Washington as a whole is part of the US)
