The exams started. Before that, at the Spring Ball, Rin received a hair ornament from Luon. She knew that a new shop specializing in custom-made hair ornament shop had opened in Diagon Alley. Rumor had it that a boy once had a hair ornament made there and placed it in the hair bun of the girl he liked; apparently, this gesture came to be seen as a form of showing love to somebody. For her part, the girl would signal her acceptance by wearing the pin. Sue wondered if the shop owner was from somewhere in Asia—after all, the custom of wearing these wonderful things is unique to that region. That is one of the great things about Hogwarts: it’s truly international. It’s the most famous Wizarding School of the whole Magical World!
Collaborating with @Zoomy_’s Holly Granger series, which is now writing the story of Natascha Granger, Marleen’s daughter. Thanks to JK Rowling, Erin Hunter, and my friends for my ideas.
