Controls: WASD - Movement Spacebar - Shoot Ice Cream (auto aims to boss) F or LMB - Parry (explained further below) V - Show Hurtbox (Toggle ON/OFF) [Health Factors]: Health: You start off with 75 health. The main thing that keeps you alive. Can be regained by 5 points with a 3% chance from landing ice cream hits. Health can be overfilled from healing. Armor: You start with 25 armor. Takes full damage and reduces the damage your health takes by 50%. Can still fully reduce damage if it takes full damage while low but will take longer to regenerate. Once it reaches 0 or below 0 it will no longer reduce damage until refilled. It is unable to reduce status effect damage. Regenerates passively every 0.6 seconds (will not take damage when depleted). [Boss Attacks]: Tracking Beam: Will warn the player subtly before occuring. The beam won't hit Beebo directly, but will place 2 beams at both his left and right side. These beams track his movement and will follow him for around 7 seconds. These beams have delayed movement, so if Beebo moves too fast he will be caught in the beams and will take 5 damage. Lightning Storm: The screen will darken when this occurs. 15 lightning bolts will strike at a random place and have a warning delay before striking. If Beebo is struck, he will take 2 damage and will recieve the shock status effect, dealing 0.5 damage per tick. Surfboard Storm (Passive Attack): Knoddy's main attack. He tosses surfboards in a random direction that are able to rebound. If Beebo is hit by one of these surfboards, he will take 2.5 damage. The surfboards disappear after around 3 seconds. Instakill: If you touch the boss, you instantly die. [Game Mechanics]: Parrying: A timed guard. If the guard is timed right as soon as you get hit by an attack, it will negate all damage from the attack and restore some armor. There are 2 types of parries, a weak parry and a strong parry. Weak Parry: A parry that restores 5 armor. This parry is performed when parrying surfboards. Strong Parry: A parry that restores 10 armor. This parry is performed when parrying lightning strikes. (The beam attack is unable to be parried.)
Most attacks are timed with the music, so if it helps you restart the project if the music not timed correctly.
