WARNING: D3ath Bramble sniffed the berries. Poison… She couldn’t eat those. “Mum! I’m starving!” Bramble called out. Pebble was only a young otter. “I will go fishing. Stay here.” “Mum what’s that? Mum?” A flare of orange streaked the vine leaves, suddenly pushing down onto Bramble. “Mum! Help me!” Bramble’s mum jumped onto the foxes back, nipping its neck. The fox fled, but Bramble didn’t move. “Bramble! No!” BEEP BEEP! “Urgh.” Allie flipped over on her bed and smacked the alarm clock. She was having so many pastlife dreams recently. “Grrr…” A small noise slipped from her throat. Allie stared at the ceiling. “WHY!? Why do foxes have to be so mean?” Allie cried, feeling a rush of sadness run over her as she remembered her pastlife. The stars on her ceiling glowed. ‘It must still be night,’ thought Allie, sitting up and reaching under her pillow. She pulled a Asian small clawed otter fact book out, as well as a journal with otters on it, swimming in a lake, with the therian symbol on it. “I wish i didn’t have to wake up so early just to write in you,” whispered Allie, kissing the book. She opened to the first page. It was covered in writing. It said about her pastlife in detail, as well as how she awakened, and her shifts. She then opened the fact book, and turned to the journal to start writing down activities that she could do that were similar to what her theriotype does and what the otter’s diet was. She also listed the shifts she had had yesterday, and what happened in them. After she had finished recording her shifts and activity ideas, she tucked the books back under her pillow, and pulled out another book, called ‘Avery’s therian story’. It was about a otter therian at school. Allie loved it. After reading two chapters, her mum called for breakfast, and Allie shoved the book back under her pillow and ran downstairs.
