“So… anything you like to do?” Finn asked awkwardly. I looked at him, but my eyes got stuck on his. His light blue eyes were mesmerizing; This feels… too familiar I abruptly broke eye contact. “Live to the next day.” I answered harshly trying to get him to stop talking. “Jeez you that must be very boring.” He teased. I rolled my eyes, and continued to walk. Finn kept his blue eyes on me making me feel goosebumps. I desperately tried to ignore him that I didn’t see the rabbit in front of me. I let out a string of colorful curses. “I didn’t even know half of those words and that’s coming from me!” Finn remarked. “Shup up and keep your eyes peeled.” I growled walking quickly ahead ignoring my aching feet, and pounding head. Finn mumbled something I didn’t quite catch. I tell myself that I’m glad I didn’t hear him, but truly I wish I did. I was so focused on Finn I missed the beauty of the forest. The flowers dotted the ground adding a splash of color to the dull brown leaves on the ground. The lively green leaves blended with the cloudless sky making the world look as if it was in a painting. Not watching some kids fight each other to the death. Heck the b|00d being spilt is probably what this is all about. What a waste of life, coming from me. The rustle of leaves stirred me from my deep thoughts. Finn was still behind me, sadly. I pulled out my spear and aimed it at a rabbit in throwing distance. I could almost feel pity for it, eating grass unaware of the imminent danger less than a few yards from it, but my growling stomach doesn’t like these childish emotions. I c0cked my arm, aimed, then threw the spear right into the rabbit’s eyes. I’m surprised at how long Finn has stayed quiet, it’s almost unnerving, and I barley even know this guy. “You can carry the rabbit” I instructed to fill the silence, refusing to look at him. Finn grumbled a complaint, but obeyed, handing me the red tipped spear. After about 10 minutes of crunching leaves, and hunting we (*I* caught) 3 more rabbits. The rabbits seemed very abundant here it must be the vegetation, or the people who put us here toying with us. We stumbled to a large cliff. I just started looking at the distant land beyond the cliff, and I was yet again entranced by the beauty. As I was scanning the distance my eyes got caught a shiny black figure. The figure was about a mile away being surrounded by the green layers of leaves. It moved. No, it slithered. I lost control of my face, while my eyes widened. A snake… A snake’s body was bigger than a tree… I begrudgingly looked at Finn; he saw it too. “Let's just get back to camp.” I recommend barley keeping my voice from breaking.
