Sorry this one’s really late but I had to put all my attention into the most recent DTA I hosted which was the 1000+ DTA and I’m so happy that it gained as much support and entry’s as it did. Everyone was so excited by the collaborative DTA idea and people were even asking me if they could be apart of a collab DTA in the future! So because of that I’m going to host more collaborative DTA’s in the future! I’ll most likely do them every .5k+ (500) gained so the next possible one would be the 1.5k+ (1,500) so if anyone’s interested please let me know down in the comments and we can discuss the matter in private. I’d like to keep the collaborating artists a secret until the DTA’s release and we’d need to talk about details and all that stuff. A: Draw To Adopt, you draw any character(s) you like from the batch and if you win you get to keep them as your own character! Q: How many can I win? A: Each person can only win one, Alts don’t count. Q: How many can I draw? A: You’re 100% welcomed to draw all of them but once again you can only win one. Q: Is it ok if I can animate a character and do a headshot? A: Of course! Animations give you an even better chance at winning that character! You can do multiple things for the character(s)! Q: What can give me a higher chance of winning? A: I prefer quality over quantity so if you were to do multiple animations that were quickly made and there was obviously not a lot of effort I will favor others entry’s. Most past winners have made 1-2 projects with lots of effort put into them. You’re always welcome to look at the previous winners entries to compare them to yours. Q: Can I make them a backstory?? A: Yess! If I’m going to give you this character I hope you know what you’d do with them! Backstory’s are a good factor I put in as well when choosing the winners! Q: Is it ok to change the design? A: Yes, but only a little bit. If the character is not similar enough to the original or is completely different I might favor others entry’s more. Q: If someone is mean about someone else's art, will they get banned from doing these? A: It honestly depends, if you are mean to someone else about their art for my DTA’s you won’t have any chances to win a character from that DTA specifically, no matter how good the art. But if it continues then they won’t ever win any Adopts for any future DTA’s thus being banned.
BRAH. Scratch ruined it- [just a joke ST] ANYWAYS Here is my entry of Datura! Name-Datura [WELL NAH-] Age-8 Gender-Male Tribe/s-Night/Leaf Backstory-[big cool one] Warning! Mention of d3ath + a little romance! <3 (note: Datura's mother just left on stormy day OKAY-) Datura grew up on the continent of Pantala with his parents: DappleGreen-mother-LeafWing ShadowCaster-father-NightWing One day, his mother disappeared. He spent days and nights searching for her with his father, then soon gave up. A friend of Daturas mother suddenly came to them after the searching. She said “I’m so sorry for your loss. We found her by the beach yesterday while you were gone. She sadly passed.” Datura was heartbroken by this news. After the funeral, Datura made it his mission to learn everything about storms and the ocean to prevent someone else losing someone they love. He grew to become an expert in marine biology and weather, discovering the oceans secrets and predicting the forecast correctly (ALMOST) every time he did. One stormy day, he was observing the weather with his father on the beach. He suddenly heard something. Over the sound of splashing waves and howling wind, he could hear the cries of a dragon. Quickly, he told his father and they both acted immediately. ShadowCast was to stay on the beach to watch for any other dragons while Datura, being a fast and strong flyer, went to find the dragon. As Datura flew through the heavy rain, he finally spotted the dragon, frantically flapping her wings as she fought the harsh wind. She was a LeafWing with pale green scales and rosy pink wings. Datura dived down to grab her, snatching her away back to the shore. As they landed, he asked for the Leafwings name. Her name was Heartleaf. An 8 year old female LeafWing with a special love for flytraps. (I'm getting a bit lazy here if u don't mind) Datura and Heartleaf spent everyday with eachother after that. Flying, hunting, studying marine biology (yes, Heartleaf likes the ocean too!), and everyday Datura spent with her, he grew to love her. One day, he gathered up his courage to tell her how he felt. Heartleaf also was going to tell him her feelings and quickly, they fell in love. (I'm ending the backstory here because I AIN'T NO WRITER(!!!) and i'll probably end up writing a whole narrative text that I'll need for school. lol) That is all! :D WHY DO FEEL LIKE I COULD BECOME A WRITER OR SMTHN ONCE I GET OUT OF SCHOOL?????
