Normally at this point in a story the character would consult or tell someone. Alas, in this scenario there is simply no-one to tell. Jet is a lone wolf. The wise solution for him would be to avoid all future contact with the colourless. But of course, Jet doesn't care about what is right and what is moral and what is smart. He wants solutions to problems. So he went on a Salmonid power trip to help him think. While assaulting a Flyfish he had the bright idea of stalking a group of the colourless without letting them know. This would likely be difficult for him as while he is unaware, in fact he is being stalked by the colourless. The tables are quit reversed. Isn't that amusing. As we previously stated already, he is being stalked with no clue whatsoever. Scrapping with some Salmonids might provide a bit of shelter, for reasons that will come soon, but not forever. When Jet was travelling back to Inkopolis he thought he caught a glimpse of another heli. And he also thought he saw eyes peeking at him from alleyways. Had he put two and two together he would know what's happened to his apartment. Heh. Nothing has happened to his apartment. But he put two and two together and got five, deciding that they must have sabotaged his own apartment and that he must stay in the open where he is in more danger. Now we must discuss a lot of things. Questions like why they're obsessed with him and why Salmonids are a temporary shelter. Questions like what on earth is actually happening. Questions like if the colouress were born that way or were changed by something. Oh, and also, what on earth is happening in the projects? What does "?oh?f?KqN" mean? All will be shown in the next chapter. Get cliffhanger-ed.
