★ ★flowergolf★ ★ high school AU, they're seniors!! / / indicates italics Song has curse words, but I recommend listening to it while reading!! ONE TWO THREE I WANT YURI <3 (you have successfully converted my multishipper ahh to shipping them *sob* I love them) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Golf Ball struggled to reach her two books she needed for class from her locker, which was unfortunately the highest one. She huffed annoyingly, pushing her glasses higher on her face. If stupid Tennis Ball was here, he would've helped her, but his smartahh decided to transfer to a special school, completely not informing her before, if he had, she might've been able to transfer, but she couldn't now, since it was already nearly the middle of September. Sigh. Now if she could only reach her books. She struggled and got angered a couple seconds more, before a swift hand crossed in front of her, snatching the two books she needed swiftly. Golf Ball glanced up, saw who it was, and sighed behind her glasses. She then put on a scowl. "Flower." She said dully, only acknowledging her presence because she needed to make new... 'closer' friends now that Tennis Ball was gone. Plus Flower was preening herself for being /so/ helpful, balancing the books in one hand, her other hand on her hip, accenting her...slender figure. "Golf Ball," Flower replied, her smile growing. "I see you have been all...quite by your lonesome since..eugh...that Tennis Ball left." She observed, a hint of a giggle clearly trying to escape in her voice. Golf Ball's scowl deepened. "/So/? You didn't seem to have much interest in him to begin with." She spat. It was a rather..touchy topic for her. Flower looked appalled, putting her hand to her sides, Golf Ball's books still clutched in her hand, and Golf Ball narrowed her eyes. "Damn, so cold! Just cause I'm popular. I do befriend the weirdos and nerds, y'know? I'm good friends with Ruby after all." She bragged, and Golf Ball scoffed. Just as she said that, Ruby and her five friends walked by, and Ruby grinned innocently at Flower. "Flower, you look beautiful today!!" Flower smiled cheerily at her and waved, then once she was gone looked back at Golf Ball, smirking, and Golf Ball rolled her eyes. "Anyways, here's your books, Golfy." Flower plopped her books on her head (since she had no arms) gently. Golf Ball flushed at Flower calling her that, glaring at her despite knowing her face was probably noticeably warm. Flower's smile widened at her flustered face, and Golf Ball looked at the ground. Flower leaned against Golf Ball's locker, next to her, waiting for the bell to ring, them both silent for a minute in the bustling hall. Until Flower recommended something that made Golf Ball want to hide her face and die. "Say, how about I be the new one to help you grab your books and walk you to class?" She recommended, and Golf Ball looked up at her in stunned horror. Flower huffed impatiently at Golf Ball's..expressive reaction. "Since Tennis Ball's not your boyfriend anymore." She pointed out firmly. Golf Ball glanced back at the ground, not denying the idea, nor accepting it. She was about to say something when Flower leaned down, her face close to her's, causing her face to turn warm, yet again, AGAINST HER WILL, what was SERIOUSLY up with her today? Flower's face was slightly red this time too, god. "Please? I don't want to see your lonely nerdy face all gloomy sitting alone at lunch these next couple of months." She murmured, her voice softer, trying to convince her. "You can sit with me with all my friends, or...or we could sit alone, just you and I. Whatever makes you comfortable." Golf Ball blinked, flabbergasted. Flower, being able to befriend her so easily? She had always thought of Flower as an egotistical, rude stereotypical popular girl. They had barely talked, except for Flower begging for help in a couple classes, and Golf Ball had begrudgingly helped her. But now? This didn't fit her all, and if anything, Flower was practically...practically flirting with her. She nearly recoiled at the thought. She had literally been dating a boy, a BOY, a couple weeks ago. Now? 'Is this what being away from Tennis Ball too long does to me..' She thought exasperatedly, but she blinked back to the present. "Sure. Whatever." She blurted without thinking, and Flower stood up normally, smirking again, blushing triumphantly. "Delightful! I can't wait to get to know you better, Golf Ball!" She said happily, and Golf Ball smiled faintly. The bell rang, and Flower started dragging Golf Ball. "So, what's your first class? AP Calc probably, since you're a nerd?" She asked teasingly, and Golf Ball huffed. A Pause. "..Yeah.." She admitted, irritated, and Flower snickered.

She said, not knowing how abnormally kind she was being to Golf Ball. GB flushed again. "For me, really? You never really..never really gave me a chance before today." Golf Ball pointed out. Flower paused, glancing down at her. (they're walking next to each other ok) "Well, I saw how lonely and how /cute/ you looked struggling to get your books today, so I decided to help you, anyone would do that." She said nonchalantly, enjoying Golf Ball's face increasingly heat up. "I think others wouldn't think it was 'cute', only you." Golf Ball muttered, and Flower rolled her eyes, but a fond smile was still on her face. ★ ★flowergolf★ ★ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GB such a tsundere/j song by marina (bubble gum b####) for @THE_SILLY_PIRATE_ZIP I really love this and the ship now....I actually am continuing this....who said that...
