They were all currently trying to figure what to do now, and the eliminated contestants and two were being rather loud, catching up and such. It was kind of boring now. X sighed quietly, moving their hand to intertwine with Four's, their head on his shoulder (??) Four glanced at him, and smiled weakly at X's kind grin. "I'm still so glad you're alright." X murmured thankfully, squeezing his hand. Four didn't know how to reply to that, so he just stayed quiet. "..." "Four, are you alright?" X asked worriedly. Four pulled his hand away from his and moved away, and X sat up, slightly saddened. It was an awkward silence for a couple seconds, as Four fidgeted with his hands. "Sorry." Four said abruptly. X blinked. "Why are you apologizing?" Four shrugged, feeling dumb for feeling uneasy even though they were safe..for now. "It's alright now." X said soothingly, though he sounded unsure himself, which didn't reassure Four much. "It is now, but what if she...separates us again?" Four asked, his voice a bit fearful. X sighed heavily. "If I'm being honest, I'm not sure if I could take it again this time, Four." X admitted sadly, hesitantly taking his hand once more, Four letting him clutch his arm too. "Me neither," Four murmured, hoping X didn't think he was trying to make light of their suffering they had felt when they were separated. They were both quiet for a while, listening to the eliminated contestants chatter, X still clutching Four's arm. "If she comes when we're all together again, she probably will, you'll probably have to get everyone into the exit, and go in there yourself to keep everyone safe." Four said quietly. X looked up at Four, his face filled with shock and sorrow, and Four looked away guiltily- they hated seeing X like this. "What? No, I'm not leaving you to deal with her- what were we LITERALLY just talking about?" X started, his voice shaky, letting go of Four's arm. "X-" "You have no power, Four." Four flinched and frowned, a bit annoyed. "What are you going to do? Run? She'll catch you eventually." X protested. Four huffed, crossing his arms. "It has to be done, it's the only idea I can think of. You'll be safe, at least.." X didn't look relieved one bit, hugging his knees. They were both quiet once more, this was getting quite old now. "Just...promise you'll try to best to be safe, okay?" X asked, his voice trembling like he was trying not to cry. Four nodded firmly, and stiffened as X turned suddenly and hugged him around the waist. "It'll be okay." Four stayed stiff and simply pulled away. After, Four got up, getting up to alert the eliminated contestants, X got up and followed him gloomily. After telling the eliminated contestants the plan, a loud bang was heard on the side of the moon. ★ ★absence★ ★ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- so yeah that connected into TPOT 24 pretty well yayaya this is alright ig first request done yayyy!
