As the resident comics guy, the mention of the GL corps piqued my interest. I knew I remembered another DC character whose abilities and general deal were more reminiscent of Chuboingo and Lumi, but who? Then I remembered the semi-obscure somewhat forgotten later member of the Justice Society (my favorite superhero team), Johnny thunder, a man who, Via a mystical artifact, can summon a genie called Yz the thunderbolt, so I threw this together with his page from one of the old DC who's who books. his wiki article if you want to take a peak at it, because his story's pretty crazy: https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/John_Thunder_(New_Earth)
