"Pipe down," 1x grumped, lowering his voice to a conspiratorial whisper. "We're going to buy flowers." Zero stopped flailing and looked confused. "Flowers? Why? I already smell like lavender," he muttered. 1x rolled his eyes. "They're for Ollie and Kai, you !diot," he hissed. "And I don't trust Fred or Dolion to be chill about it." Zero nodded. "That makes sense," he said. Suddenly he blushed. "W-Wait! I've never gotten flowers for Kai!" he whisper-shouted. "Well, now's your chance," 1x said. He dragged Zero out the door. Meanwhile, Fred had Dolion trapped in his stomach tank. "cOuNt ThE wAyS oH oNe By OnEeEeEeEE~---" "NO! NO!!! I D0N'T W4NT TO D13! LET ME OUT! OH GOD, PLEASE, LET ME OUT!" Dolion screamed, banging his fists on the inside of Fred. Fred winced. “Stop punching me!” he complained. Jimmy DDD:ed. “Let him out!” Ollie stood in the corner, ;-;ing because anxiety was present and 1x wasn't there to comfort them. Neither was Kai because he was busy being taped to the ceiling by Ren as punishment for [k]ing Zero too many times in one hour. Kai B)ed. "Worth it," he said. At the store,, 1x finally let go of Zero's hair after walking like five miles to the store. Zero immediately dropped to his knees, clutching his head in his hands and whimpering. He had a blinding, throbbing headache. Every single thump of his core sent an agonizing jolt of pain straight up to his head. 1x nudged him with his foot. "Get up," he said, raising an eyebrow. He genuinely did not realize how much pain Zero was in. Zero didn't move an inch. The tiny bit of force and sound from 1x made the pain so much worse. 1x ._.ed and prepared to leave him there but then thought of Ollie, who occasionally gave Zero hugs and clearly cared about him. 1x sighed and walked away. He returned a few minutes later with a bottle of tylenol and gave two of the pills to Zero with a bottle of water. "Here," he grumbled. Zero quickly took the water and took a sip, shoving the pills down his throat and then drinking the rest of the bottle. The water helped the pain a little bit, and with the help of his hyper advanced processors, the medicine kicked in rapidly, steadily soothing the pain down to a manageable ache. "I HATE YOU!" Zero yelled, standing up. He grabbed 1x by the thr04t and glared at him. "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH THAT HURT?! I'M GOING TO POUND YOU INTO DUST, YOU ABSOLUTE [beachball ;3]!!!" 1x o_Oed, having not expected that at all. "I got you medicine!" he exclaimed. Zero was about to throw 1x though the wall but then a teenager with a blue shirt and a name tag walked over. "Hey, guys! L-Let's not fight, okay?" he said cheerfully, reaching up and gently prying Zero's fingers off of 1x's neck. 1x dropped to the floor. "There we go!" the teen chirped. "Let's get along and save our d34th battles for after we've left the store, sound good?" He smiled. Zero actually stopped trying to m&rd3r 1x. It was hard to be mad when this kid was around. He glanced at the teen's name tag. "Understood... 'Jerry'," he said. 1x stood up and dusted himself off, trying to look unbothered by his near-br0k3n-b0n3s experience. "Whatever," he huffed. He gave Jerry a slightly harsh pat on the head and then turned to Zero. "You seem all better now. Let's go do what we came to do." He walked toward the place where the flowers were. Zero gave Jerry a rare, soft smile and then followed 1x. Meanwhile, back at the squad headquarters, Jimmy finally got Fred to open his stomach tank and let Dolion out. Dolion bolted out of Fred and literally jumped on Jimmy's shoulders like a cat, O_Oing out at Fred, who just :3ed innocently. Jimmy was somehow not bothered by the 150 pounds of vampire guy on her back and :3ed too. "Yay, problem solved." "Yay," Kai said from the ceiling. Ren :Ced. "No talking, Kai. You're in time-out," he said. Kai T^Ted. "WHY?" he complained. "I didn't even [k] Zero that much." Ren T_Ted. "YOU [K]ED HIM ***534 TIMES IN ONE HOUR***," he screamed.
