It's a comforting night outside. Crickets are chirping. The moon is shining its moonlight upon the Earth. And beneath it all is a lone campsite. This is where our story truly begins. A missing poster of him. Navy. The one holding it is Sunny, sitting on a log and holding back tears that threatened to flow. Rigel, who was sitting beside the star, sighed and put his arm around his shoulder. "I'm sure he's still... somewhere out there." Sunny's grip tightened on the poster. "...wh- what if he ISN'T, Rigel? What if he DIED out there?! He could've burned, gotten his neck snapped, MAYBE EVEN HE COULD'VE GOTTEN TO HIM!" Tears finally pricked at the corners of his eyes, his voice growing shakier. Rigel shook his head. "Maybe he's still alive, man. Who knows, maybe he could be in that forest..." Rigel's free hand gestured towards the forest ahead. Two silhouettes started to walk out of the forest, the taller one limping. Rigel's pupils went small, a snarl appearing on his face. "GET BEHIND ME." Rigel pushes Sunny behind him as scorching hot fire began to rise from his hands. He knew that figure all too well... it was HIM. "WHEN WILL YOU LEARN TO LEAVE US ALONE, YOU DISGUSTING PIECE OF-" Rigel throws a fireball straight at the shadowed figure. The figure recoils in pain, but fire doesn't ignite. "OW-" A loud, raspy cough rang out. "G- God... what the heck is WRONG with you?!" Another voice, too recognizable, cut off the other. "Calm down! Jesus! Where did tha-" When the smaller figure emerges from the shadows, squinted eyes and a few bruises, he freezes. "Oh... we're here." The taller figure emerges from the shadows, slumped and looking like he was straight out of a war. "It's about time..." Rigel's scowl softens at the sight of Navy, but the fire in his hands only grow. "...Navy?" At the mention of the name, Sunny swiftly peeked out from behind Rigel. The first figure he locks eyes with is Ashborne, all of those... HORRID memories flooding back into the front of his mind all at once. He retreats further behind Rigel, who takes a couple steps forward. "...you're alive? And... with HIM?!" Rigel said, gesturing wildly to the damaged Ashborne. "He's the one who gave Sunny trauma beyond repair, the guy that tried to KILL US multiple times, AND HE'S COME BACK FROM THE DEAD SO MANY TIMES TO KEEP PULLING OUR STRINGS!" Navy takes a step back. "RIGEL, WAIT! Please. I found him in the forest on the brink of death... and I couldn't just leave him there. Plus, look at the empty socket!" Rigel looked up at Ashborne's brimstone-sided face and froze, his mouth slightly agape. "IT's gone! And now... maybe we could have PEACE for once?" Navy said with a nervous smile. Rigel sighs and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Fine. But I don't trust that rat one bit." Rigel said, giving Ashborne a glare before walking away into his tent. Ashborne blinks twice before shaking his head. "Anyways, about the whole 'healing me' thing." Mranno peeks his head out from his tent and a smile forms on his face. In a crimson blur, he wraps his arms around Navy in a tight hug, bouncing on the balls of his feet in excitement. "YOU'RE ALIVE! YOU'RE ALIVE!!!" Crater peeked out from the same tent and smirked. "Well, the legends ARE true." Navy rolls his eyes. "I'm not a legend, Crater." Crater tosses a first aid kit to Ashborne, who almost drops it. She lets out an amused chuckle. "Don't trip on it, butterfingers." Ashborne scowls. "Butterfingers... little piece of work..." Ashborne mutters under his breath as he opens it with more force than needed, grabbing a roll of bandages and wrapping a few around his bleeding brimstone shoulder. Mranno finally lets go, still shaking with excitement. "Come on, he's over here!" Navy stammers for a bit. "Who's over WHERE?!" As soon as they round the fire, Sunny freezes at the sight of Navy. Navy freezes at Sunny's head wound, but ignores it. "...S- Sunny?" Sunny grabbed Navy by the shoulders, pulling him into a tight embrace. He let a few tears flow freely, a smile appearing on his face. "...I- I knew you'd come back..."
