[] Time to STRIKE [] *If you ever wonder what the characters actually look like, “refs” are inside. Just because I don’t know if I described them well enough. Music is MIROH by Stray Kids -Tuesday, April 14, 20XX- April the fourteenth marked the anniversary of Shard joining Strike Team. Time had gone so fast, it was already a year, but Shard still remember her very first step into Strike Team HQ like it was yesterday. The Members of ST organized a celebration, and everyone was having a good time. Some ate, some talked, while some just sat around, relaxing. Memories of her father still lingered in Shard’s mind. She recalled that he never liked how she knew the whole entire Periodic Table by heart, nor how she constantly told him facts about things like the chemicals in the air. Her dad had tried to sell her away, and that led to her meeting Byeong, one of the highest ranked of the High Class members of ST. Byeong took Shard in, and adopted her with her partner, Echo. Echo was Second-in-Command in Strike Team, and she was considered as the most “normal” of all members. Shard walked over to where her friends were. They all sat at a table, eating some Yellowtail Teriyaki*. Shard noticed that EyeSea was looking more /alive/ than usual- he always had this look that was deprived of energy. Apparently EyeSea was proud of not killing anyone for a week, beating his record of twelve hours. He even finally washed off all the dried blood that used to stain his bright white and grey fur! MisterHead was levitating, as usual, but refused to give up the chair underneath them, saying “if you take it, and I suddenly decide not to use my powers, I will fall down and injure myself, AND ITS GOING TO BE ALL YOUR FAULT AND I’D FOREVER HATE YOU FOR IT”. FootFoot was eating a lot at once, using the advantage of having too many feet to hold multiple utensils, all with food on/in it. And Phlox... Phlox was Phlox. By that, it meant that he still had the dumb dot eyes and a cheesy smile and was as innocent as innocent could ever get. Shard was glad that everything was going well, until one of the Low Class (or was it Middle Class? But that doesn’t matter) members came with major injuries, and a report of a big threat. Shard didn’t hesitate, and volunteered to take care of it. The injured creature said that a team would be highly recommended to take down the threat, so Shard turned to look at her friends hopefully. “I don’t wanna go. I just wanna finish what’s on my plate and utensils,” FootFoot said, half chewing. “I’d go, but if I go, then my record won’t go past a week, and I’ll have to restart!!” Eye Sea meowed. Only MisterHead and Phlox agreed to come, but two High-Class members and one Middle-Class member wasn’t enough. Shard sighed. “Byeong is busy... Echo needs to supervise this room... how about Stone Star... no wait he’s useless...” Shard muttered to herself, trying to think who would be good enough to help take on the perilous mission. “Oh wait! I forgot about all the Middle Class members we have!” Shard turned back towards the hurt member. “You go see Eiree, she’ll surely fix you up.” Shard chose Strike Spider, Ventis, and The Prophet (although the last one is almost useless in the battlefield) to go with her, MisterHead, and Phlox. -Later- The team arrived at the place where the threat was reported to be. They looked around, but didn’t see anything besides the damage that was left behind. “Come on! Why did I have to go, when the stupid threat or whatever isn’t even here? Why do we have to take care of these threats anyways? It messes up my beautiful fur that I just fixed up this morning!!” Strike Spider complained. “You came because Shard told you to, and we take care of threats to prove that Strike Team isn’t just a Group of ruthless monsters. Oh, and stop complaining, Stupid Spider,” MisterHead replied. Strike Spider shot MisterHead a very annoyed look, but MisterHead’s only reaction was a stifled laugh. “Guys, focus. We’re on a very important mission here,” Shard said to them, squinting through her very shiny goggles that were definitely not glare proof. “Yeah. Listen to Shard,” Ventis agreed, her long scarf flowing dramatically in the wind, matching her long curled up floof. Phlox was speechless. He was processing the landscape around him, uprooted trees, dead soil, small fires, and the ashes of what appeared to be a Stray or many Strays’ shelter. How could someone have ever thought to do something so...so...mean? He didn’t even move, and the rest of the team took a little while to realize that Phlox was behind. MisterHead floated over and grabbed Phlox and brought him over to everyone else. “Poor dude’s traumatized by this place, I think,” MisterHead observed, their big round floofs moving with the wind. “I think we should bring him back to HQ. I’d gladly go with him, then trade out my position with someone else so that I can fix my fur,” Strike Spider suggested. (Cont.)
[2023.03.18 https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/811340801/ ] *my favourite dish EVER. That’s why it’s there. (Cont.) “No, Strike Spider, you are NOT avoiding your responsibilities, at least, NOT ON MY WATCH!!” Shard scolded her. “B-but my fur!!! It’s getting ruffled!!” Strike Spider whined. “GET USED TO IT!!! IF YOU’RE GOING TO LIVE, YOU’RE GOING TO HAVE TO GET USED TO THE FACT THAT THINGS DON’T ALWAYS GO YOUR WAY!!” Shard yelled back. Strike Spider didn’t respond, she only looked very defeated. “Ventis, you’ll go bring Phlox back to HQ, since you’re very fast,” Shard ordered. “Roger dodger!” Ventis saluted jokingly, then grabbed Phlox and jumped off, scarf still flowing dramatically behind her. <><><> And that’s it for now! I’ll add more if I feel more ambitious later
