This is the monthly siren test for forest county, which happens on the first Saturday of every month at 1:00PM. Yep, I decided to put this in 2 point perspective! It was one heck of a challenge to get this to look good, but I'd say it turned out as well as I can get it for a first try! Thankfully the EOWS-812 has a pretty easy design. ● Name: Federal Signal EOWS (Electronic Outdoor Warning Siren)-812 ● Chopper Port: None, it's electronic! ● Alert Time: 60 seconds (I have nothing to say!) ● Pole Height: Around 50 feet. ● Decibel Output: 124dB at 100 feet ● Location: At the corner of an intersection for a dead end road in the SW sector of Forest County. ● Cool Facts: The EOWS-812 is technically the 1st generation of the EOWS-612! The 812 was the first design that Federal Signal came up with for a rotational siren. They eventually released the EOWS-612 a few years later, which was more compact while still having the same amount of speaker drivers, meaning the performance for the 812 and 612 are the same. 812 was also discontinued along with the EOWS-408 when the 612 came out.
