Wren was Blue Light’s first creation– and her only creation as of now. Except for a ‘one and only creation’ she wasn’t exactly… marvelous or anything really spectacular. She was made from the scraps of a discarded soul essence. The overlooker who made her only got around a quarter of the way through, including naming her, but was sent to middlelife before they could finish. So the only thing that soul essence was was the idea of somebody named Finch(Finch being the name she was originally supposed to have). For quite some time, Finch’s soul essence was just… left there, then Blue Light finally noticed. Blue Light had never been a creator- that was Guiding Light’s thing. They certainly didn’t know how to nurture a soul to fruition, but they felt pity for the abandoned soul essence and took it in as an exception. Due to not knowing how to nurture souls, Blue Light completely skipped that step, figuring that Finch’s soul essence had enough for her to be functional, and they went straight to giving Finch a body. — Finch never really met her parents- according to the others in the planetary system they burned away in a star. She merely had the concept of once having parents and a vague memory of her mother looking at her and- from what little she remembered about her face- seeming unsure. Her planetary system revolved around a star that happened to be very fond of Guiding Light, thus causing their star to not be very fond of her- and because of that, nobody else in the planetary system was particularly fond of her either. Because of that, nobody else in the planetary system was particularly fond of her either, causing her to never really have any friends. Nobody ever explained it to her either, mainly because no one was willing to get close. She became more accustomed to being alone- often simply observing others. She never really thought too much about it. As she observed, she noticed something. The other planets had things about them- favorites, likes, dislikes, skills, interests- all of them had identities. At least some semblance of an idea of who they were. Finch didn’t really have… any of that. Mainly due to her lack of soul essence, but she didn’t know that. This confused Finch, and she became fixated on trying to figure out who she was- often slamming together ‘puzzle pieces’ to try and see what fit but nothing… really ever did. While in this state of fixation, she didn’t even notice other things going on around her. A mvrd3r happened in the planetary system- something Finch didn’t even realize had happened until she was dragged into the system’s ‘meeting’ about it. She didn’t really get why people were so worried about it- Finch had never really developed morals due to her lack of a proper identity and soul essence after all. Due to Finch’s lack of emotional reaction or even just concern, the other planets immediately gathered and started to blame her- according to them, of course it had to be the one with Blue Light’s marking. During a meeting that Finch was excluded from, they decided to execute Finch. While Finch was distracted with her notebook, a planet snuck up on her and fired an arrow at her. She had turned around in time to see who it was and to be sh0t straight through the heart. — Finch didn’t go to Quarterlife- in fact she wasn’t greeted by any of the afterlives. Instead- she woke up in Blue Light’s domain. Blue Light had wanted to be the one to greet her creation apparently. After speaking with Blue Light for a while, Finch ended up asking Blue Light who she(Finch) was. Unfortunately, Blue Light didn’t have an answer for her. They hadn’t been the one who started the creation of Finch’s soul essence, so they didn’t know what intentions she was made with, and they certainly hadn’t finished Finch’s soul essence. As expected, Finch wasn’t very pleased with this answer so Blue Light came up with a… compromise for her. Blue Light would give Finch someone new to be, and give her a role so she wouldn’t have to think too much on who she was anymore. Finch accepted this, and Blue Light renamed her Wren. Wren never went to any of the afterlives and instead stayed with Blue Light in their domain(but was often also alone whenever Guiding Light was in control of the Light Twins’ body). Blue Light, ironically, taught Wren archery, and also other means of defense and offense. She was trained like a soldier, and overtime became just like one causing Blue Light to decide that Wren was perfectly suited to be a servant. Wren was in a way put on hold for a while, as none of the overlookers or anybody else would have the morals to accept a servant- especially not one with Blue Light’s mark… then Striker came along.
- Wren is proud of her affiliation with Blue Light, but hides her mark as to protect her own life(as she was k!113d previously for having it) - Wren did /NOT/ make a deal with Blue Light, but anybody created by Blue Light is gonna end up having Blue Light's mark on the right side of their neck(Wren is currently Blue Light's only creation however) - Wren has a strong will to live, as her logic is 'If I die -> I can't be a servant anymore -> unacceptable - She doesn't see her devotion to Striker as attachment, so she can be rather hypocritical when it comes to attachment - Wren's determination can be scary at times with how far she's willing to go - Wren somehow gets even more focused when she's mad
