°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:･ ✿ 25時の情熱 (passion at 25) - scratch MAPs tribute ✿ status: open parts length: 5-10 seconds. most parts are 5 seconds! due date: none, but progress checks every 2 weeks entry: application based, animation/art experience needed, not open for beginners, tnes open to all Please read the whole desc espc if you're applying for a part. °❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:･ about: I have been thinking about this MAP (multi-animator project) concept since May, but wanted to wait until my other MAP was close to finished before I posted a new one. So, here it is, using the song Passion at 25! This MAP will be a tribute to iconic completed MAPs hosted on Scratch. Each animator will pick a MAP, study it, its characters, story (espc if it's an AU), etc, and create a MAP part that is a summary or amalgamation of that entire MAP all smashed into one MAP part! This is not an original idea. This has been done before for Warrior Cats MAPs on YT (the Warriors - Reprise MAP) However, this MAP is NOT exclusive to Warrior Cats MAPs, though most MAPs will probably be Warriors related, there are plenty of MAPs on Scratch that are different themes. I just wanted to bring this cool idea to Scratch and honor the many awesome MAPs that have been done on this cool coding website! °❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:･ preferences for picking a MAP(s): - This studio features all the completed MAPs you can choose from to use for your part. You are not limited to this list, but I would prefer you pick a MAP from here that is older and more notable. https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/51647561 - Remember, this map tribute is NOT exclusive to Warrior Cats MAPs. I would like to have at least SOME variety with the MAPs included here! There are a handful of palette, OC/anything, and other fandom MAPs that I encourage you use! I do recognize most iconic MAPs on scratch are Warriors, but if we get to a point where most of the MAP parts are from Warriors MAPs, I will not let future part takers pick a Warriors MAP to make room for other MAPs. - Reason that I prefer you pick a completed MAP that is older is that this is also somewhat of a nostalgia MAP to honor the MAPs of old times that encouraged/inspired some artists (like me) to keep going with their art and Scratch journey! - Completed MAPs only - Completed MAPs can only be included ONCE in this MAP. So if your MAP of chose is taken you must pick another! - If I start to notice that there are like 5 MAPs all hosted by the same person ima have to .. start asking yall to make changes lol °❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:･how to make your MAP part: - You are NOT picking one part from your MAP of choice and redrawing or tracing it in any way. Your part is a summary of that entire MAP, in which you'll have to use your creative mind to decide how you're planning on doing that! You do not have to include all of the MAP's story or characters, so don't stress on this! - If the MAP has a palette or specific designs for characters, please follow that! If you don't have access to the original palette/designs from the MAP call, just try your best. - For inspiration, look off the MAP you chose! You can also look at the Warriors - Reprise MAP on YT for an idea on how animators made a summary of iconic Warriors MAPs there. °❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:･how to make your TNE: - TNE is open to all! Please wait until most/all parts have been filled or completed before you start working on your TNE. Please include at least 5 characters from completed MAPs the animators are doing (will be listed in parts desc) in your thumbnail. You can include more if you'd like! Be creative with it! - Include "Passion at 25 - completed MAP - a tribute to Scratch MAPs" or smth like that °❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:･rules/info: - 2 sprite max - must title your broadcast messages if you use them - no animating in background - no due date but I will be checking for your progress every 2 weeks via the progress studio. once accepted to the MAP PLEASE comment on the studio. i'll be replying to that comment when progress checks come around! - no reserving parts, but since there is no due date you don't have to start your part right away, just update me on when you can (just dont claim a part and not start your map part for like.. months) - this MAP is for experienced artists/animators - amv/pmv allowed, amv pref but if you're not used to doing amv (like me lol) then do pmv! though i encourage you to shade/render your part if you do pmv. - be creative! you are honoring a completed Scratch MAP! so do it justice! - you will be dropped from the MAP if you don't reply to progress checks for a month or more. - you can have up to 2 parts. if you have 2 parts you must use 2 seperate MAPs for each part (but i can make exceptions depending on the map and part). parts 8 seconds or longer can include 2 MAPs in them, but you don't have to. sorry that sounds confusing lol.. Application forms are inside this project! Please fill those out and don't ask "Can I have this part?"
