-- The Painting Dot -- Watch the dot rolling along its path, painting the way as it goes. Stick to the end, and you might just see its brother undoing its hard work... This pattern is a fractal called a Hilbert Curve. It's made of a small square, repeated four times to make a bigger one, repeated four times to make a bigger one, et cetera... you get it. All squares are connected in one solid path, which the dot follows. Here's a step by step instruction on how to make it: 1. Start with just letter A. 2. Replace all A's in the sequence with "+BF-AFA-FB+" and all B's with "-AF+BFB+FA-". 3. Repeat step 2 for as many levels in the fractal you want. 4. You have now created a map of where to turn and where to go straight. Delete all A's and B's, and you will have a large string of +'s, -'s, and F's. F means move forward, + means turn right, and - means turn left. 5. Now follow the directions and you will travel in the Hilbert Curve's path!
