Chapter 11 Liz straightened on the bed, propping the pillow up behind her back. She leaned against the cold wall. She studied the lady who had, apparently, taken care of her. Her memories slowly returned in a blur; The armed robbers. The accident. The fire. Her kidnappers. Darkness. Her eyes narrowed suspiciously at the old lady who was still sitting at the edge of the bed. She was about to ask another question when two muscular men entered the room. They entered and their gaze settled on Liz. "Ah, Is the girl finally awake?" "It appears so. She has been rather active.", the old lady replied as she placed the back of hand against Liz's forehead to see if she was running a temperature. Liz studied the men carefully, they were quite tall and wore black overalls over black trousers. "Please where am I?" Liz asked taking in her surroundings once more, "This place resembles one of the cottages in those fairytale medieval stories." On of the older men walked closer to the edge of the bed Liz was in, clearly not amused. "Is that an insult or a compliment?", he asked as he folded his arms. Liz simply smiled faintly and shrugged lightly, "That depends on how optimistic you are." Elizabeth was clearly joking with them. A small chuckle escaped one man. The other was not amused. "We cannot tell you were you since it's classified information. You were brought her for a reason. We are simply obeying orders." As much as Liz wanted to ask 'Orders from who?', she knew better than to provoke burly men. She nodded carefully but as she shifted in the bed she noticed that her ankles and wrists were tied with a thick rope. "Why am I tied with a rope?", Liz asked the three people in the room. Nobody answered. Liz sighed, "Anyway, I would like to go home now. My aunt may be worried sick by now." Before anyone could speak, the door opened once more and this time, Liz's jaw dropped when she recognized who it was. She wasn't exactly sure how she was supposed to feel when everyone straightened their postures and bowed their heads to the two personalities standing in the doorway. Liz wasn't sure what to say. She had millions of questions but he couldn't ask them all. Mostly because she had lost all ability of speaking and partly because her questions were to many. So she asked the most important question of all, her voice lower than a whisper, "Why?".
