Pearl's POV: As we got back to my house after the Grand Fest, I flopped down on the couch. 'Rina sat down glumly of a stool, and Pinkling went into the kitchen to get everyone some ice cream. "Well 'Rina, now we can get back to real life. You know, the news show, and-" "But Pearlie-" "You know 'Rina, a lot of squids fought hard for us to win. It's too bad we didn't..." "Pearile...?" "What is it? Something bothering you?" "Yes, our news station, remember we were robbed! The place is practicly useless!" I sat up shocked. How could I forget! "Pinkling, go grab me my phone!" "You're phone?" "Yes! We're gonna call Reese!" I dialed in her number, and Reese answer a moment later. "Hello? This is private investigator Reese, how can I help you!" "Hello, Reese? This is Pearl!" "Oh? What seems to be the trouble- Oh! That reminds me! I caught the thief who was responsible for the robbery!" "Really?! That's great!" "Yep! And everything is returned! Oh, please hold, I have another call. " "Oh Reese, that's alright, I'll hang up for now. Bye!" "Bye Pearl, say hi to Pinkling for me!" I hung up, and 'Rina jumped on my back. "Pearlie, oh Pearlie! We're back in bussiness!!" I frowned. "Well Marina....not eactly...I didn't want to say anything, because I didn't want to make you more upset, but the building...it...burnt down..." "WHAT?! When?" "Well, the thief came back during the results, and because it was the last time he or she would be robbing it, they burnt down the building. It's in repairs, but I'm afraid I sold I because I figured the news just wasn't too important anymore. I'm sorry 'Rina....I know I let you down..." 'Rina remained silent for a moment, and then smiled. "Oh Pearlie! How wonderful! It'll give us time to take a nice relaxing trip to the beach!" I smiled. "Or a palace!" Pinkling walked by and winked. "Or a theme park!" 'Rina's POV: We decided on the beach because it was very relaxing. Everyone was packed, including Pinkling, and we all headed to the hotel. Everyone got their own room, and we went to the beach every day! I must say, Pealie and Pinkling were what really mattered. And beside, we could always buy a new building later! Maybe Pinkling could even be one of the news casts too!
