i really like drawing birds replicating colors wasnt so easy with these images. on the 2nd one especially. i struggled a lot with that one, and im still unsure how id fix it. i probably should start cross referencing the colors in my drawings with the reference images next time to better understand how i went wrong i think i should also focus on using bigger brush strokes rather than getting caught up on detail. i did that a lot in these images... i was trying to get every little detail of the shadows, but if you just block in one big shape, itll end up making the drawing more cohesive in the end, and the rest of the colors will slot into place easier. and also itll just be.. faster.
