The Oceanic Super Soldier project has commenced. It starts when Irish-Australian Outback researcher Sonia Clair is investigating an intriguing cave. It is the only place in Australia where Komodo Dragons live(it isn't real obviously). She dives deeper into the cave, eventually finding a mysterious orb underground. It is something never seen before by scientists. They secretly start research, along with Sonia, experimenting with it. When a researcher decides to touch it, he is infused with a special power. He gains speed, strength, super good smell, and a powerful, corrosive bite. He also gets a giant jaw around his head(like feraligatr) and large spikes growing from his arms. The downside: insanity and hunting instincts. The researcher quickly attacked other researchers, biting the head off of a researcher and cutting a few guards in half. They managed to tranquilize him before he can KO more people, and they throw him in a secure holding cell. This is just the beginning of research on this phenomenon.
Once they first see the result of this interaction, they decide that they can militarize it. They think that if they give it armor and extra weapons, they could turn it into a super weapon. They design some armor that could be used with it, but first they have to figure out how to control the person that's taken. Soon, it might be controlable. Time elapsed for research: 10.3 months. Totally didn't spend the art budget on just Sonia. I did draw all of it myself btw, though the design is (somewhat) from Sonia of pokemon gen 8.
