For starters, his design has aspects that I favor in kits, especially his various, multi-colored stripes. He will risk anything to save or assist a loved one, even at the cost of his life. But in truth, he has a heart of gold, compassionate to those in need and willing to take them under his wing if needed. He is patient, willing to wait for anyone who needs time and understands any reason for delay. When facing any troubles, he is quick to adapt, learning any way to fend off and come out of the situation alright with no one getting hurt as well. As you look deeper into Meander, you find that it's hard to even do so from the get-go. He hides certain aspects of himself, from what he cannot understand to certain cats he cannot stand in the presence of without losing his mind. When he is resilient, he looks for resources to use. While he draws the line to hurting others, using them... is not out of the question. As long as he finds a way out and no one is significantly hurt, then he is fine with using cats when he has to. And when compassion crosses with passion, he is ready to defend anyone from pain, using his resilience and resourcefulness to assist anyone if he needs to. But even the most willing cat has his flaws. Inside, he's scared. He fears a lot of things, among those being losing his mother's favor and not being enough to protect everyone. Because what's worse than deeming yourself as someone's guardian and failing to guard them? So while he sometimes risks too much and acts recklessly to protect everyone, he is sometimes not just driven by compassion but fear of being not enough. And these fears are one of his best kept secrets, something that he dodges questions more quickly than actual blows. But over time, even he will get impatient and being a moody teenage cat, he will teach himself to resent her, thinking that she didn't care enough and thought of his siblings to be burdens, hence why she didn't want them around so much.
