i cannot wait to rejoin gens, and i've thought of this personality for awhile, rambles are in here as the forum is a massive wip: character arcs will change throughout his stages in life. So kithood Lodestone will be lazy, a pampered prince. Make others do things for him. apprenticehood is where he finds passion. And realizes waiting for others takes too long, and his laziness will shift into ambition. Why not just take what he wanted? warriorhood he focuses on becoming untouchable. ever since he was little he took to heart his parents' teachings of living for passion or creating his own ideals and forging his own path (at least that's how he internalizes the teachings and he uses this philosophy as justification for his actions.) I've never really written a morally grey personality before, or had a cat so driven. All of my cats do share the same formula for writing personalities I find appealing to roleplay, which is simply: shape base worldview as a kit, and let how they experience the world shift their ideals. And almost always lean into their flaws, and justify actions by using their positive traits. This let's me help make cats that can make mistakes and learn moral lessons. If they get everything they ever wanted they will swear by their worldview and never correct it. If they lose things they'll either oppose their worldview or double down. i decided to write the application like some historians or archivists discovered old records hehe, i'm having a lot of fun putting this together.
