As announced in Henrique Gonzales' speech at Atacama, research is to begin on nuclear fission energy, and the construction of efficent fission reactors is set as the goal, scientists are tasked with improving purification techniques for Uranium 235 and possibly looking into alternative sources of fuel, like thorium. a timeframe of roughly 5 years is set and after this scientists will be given a full pension and if they do well maybe even a medal of honor.
