“Fetherstar! It's on fire! The forest is on fire! We have to get out of here!” “Crowstripe!” Hollyfrost wake up. The two of them ran outside, and then Featherstar saw it too. “We have to evacuate the Clans! You wake the warriors and swim to SeaClan to warn them. Also, tell Islandleap to come to me, have Hollyleaf warn TreeClan, and tell Moorclaw to warn FlowerClan. And tell everyone to let the Clans know we’re all meeting on SeaClan’s island; we’ll move on together from there. And Honeyfoot needs to pack herbs and other remedies—she should probably shapeshift briefly to shrink the items with magic so they don't take up so much space.” “Okay.” Crowstripe quickly ran off and woke everyone up. She told them all what to do and then swam to SeaClan herself. Rin swam to TreeClan. Then Hollyfrost and Crowstripe swam back and reported to Featherstar. Shortly after, the other cats returned, and the Clan swam to SeaClan's island. FlowerClan and TreeClan were already gathered there. Then they arrived, too. Greystar quickly spoke up: “I'm afraid we have to relocate. I hope all the cats are here and that the medicine cats have brought as many herbs as possible. “Does anyone know where we could go? I fear our islands won't survive the fire!” Hollyleaf called out: “RiverClan said there’s enough space next to their territory for five more territories! That’s where we can go!” “Hmm... a good idea. But how do we get there? It would be a journey of several weeks!” said Flowerstar. “But it’s our only option!" replied Featherstar. So it was decided. The four Clans swam to the mainland and continued on foot. Crowstripe glanced back one last time, and a quiet sadness washed over her; a tear ran down her face. Suddenly, Greystar was standing beside her. “Crowstripe, everything will be all right!” “But I grew up here! I was born here! I can't imagine this place not existing anymore!” Crowstripe said in a hoarse voice. But then Greystar had to return to the other leaders at the front to guide the group of four Clans. Crowstripe went to the queen Flowerfoot and took one of her kits to carry; Flowerfoot had given birth to her litter only a moon ago. Islandleap and Hollyleaf also helped carry the kits. Crowstripe soon forgot her pain, for they arrived at a small spot where they could rest.
