For those of you reading: When Love Didn't Compete, or are eager to read it, this is for you. So as you know, I never really posted chapters every week like I wanted to. There is a reason for that. Allow me to explain. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- My true novel has over 24 chapters completed. I keep that in my writing novel/first draft (This is something most authors have, it is just the first writing). After I revise it once or twice, I upload it to another doc which my friends have access to. There I get feedback. This doc is called Novel Ver. Since this is where I just fix a few words. After I get feedback, I add it to the official published doc, which you have access to. As you can see, it is a lot of work. It is not easy to transfer it to three docs, and honestly I don't have that kind of time. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, because I don't want you to miss out, or wait months for next chapters to come out, I decided to change things. Instead of you accessing the official doc, I am going to publish my friend access doc. What this does for you: It allows you to actually have chapters weekly, (Or even less than weekly!) It allows you to get to know the characters more, and will include bonus information at the end for additional details. Basically, you still get the whole package, plus an authors note at the end (Which I wasn't going to include in the official novel...) telling you what happens to the other characters after the book ends. Okay... you may be thinking, Does this mean I will be reading less quality stuff? Let me answer that real quick... NO! Let me just tell you, 99% of the time I upload something to the doc my friends access, I end up posting that EXACT same script to the official novel. If I change something, I will let you guys know here on scratch where so you can re-read it (If you want to. Most of the time it is just a grammar issue). What might be a little annoying, (Or not, you tell me) is that by doing this, it will be as if I published 20 chapters all at once. Yes, this means you will have to read a lot to get all caught up. (I am sorry) Some of you may like that announcement... others might not. According to AI, the average person reads 230 words per minute (I had to ask so that I could give you an estimate on how long it might take to read...), and doing the math... it would take about 305 minutes for you to read my book. (So about 5 hours to read). I am a fast reader, So I end up reading it in about an hour or two, and being the author helps. But you might not be the same. I am sorry. If you are a big reader, and don't mind the time, I am happy for you. Please binge read. If not, I am sorry for inconveniencing you. This makes it a lot easier for me, and allows you to have access to more. Anyways, with those notes, I will inform you that I will be trying to change that tonight. So if you click on my book tonight or tomorrow, you may see a lot more chapters. Thank you all for your support. I hope you enjoy reading. (Or if you just gave up because of all the reading... I AM SO SORRY. T^T) <3 -
