This would be realized to the public in a leak resulting in the coalition being disbanded and a major battle for power starting in the AFD which made their party less popular between the far right, which as they created three new parties, one of which where barely able to enter parliament during the next election. Alice Weidel did try to stop this by posting the following statement (pls note that I wasn't able to find a message by Alice Weidel, so this isn't how she would write): 'the action currently being taken by these idiots will destroy any chance for the German people to have a independent nation, not controlled by Bruxelles. Come to your senses or you will have doomed us all!' Little did she know how true that would be. (the Bruxelles part) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'Was ist das EU Vaterland? Deutschland!': This scandal made the EU trust Germany less. Trade, collaboration and joint military training all decreased. The German economy couldn't handle this on top of the chaos in parliament. The economy went underwater and the people wanted desperately for it to get better. One thing got judged the most, worsening trade in Europe. Then two other things happened. One, a lot more people started believing that a powerful force against Russia was necessary and two, the new leader of volt Germany (made up), Hans Becker was insanely charismatic. These things, the fractured right and far right and the economic crash gave VOLT a shot at something big... The quote which is the title for this section was said by a former AFD voter that joined VOLT, tho against most policies, cause he believed that Germany would stand stronger with it's fellow European countries. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Volt winning: Volt enters the Bundestag for the first time with 222 seats, making them the biggest party. they formed a coalition with the SPD in the so-called 'Rote Sterne' coalition. what actions does VOLT take to unify Europe? Time will tell.
I'm personally not a fan of the far right, however I do not see the people supporting it as lesser in any way, tho some members do scare me. I should larp less and do more actual research, this is fun!
