All of the rules and credits can be seen inside the project in the "Cover" sprite. --- MINIGAME RULES --- Let’s play Block Party! Here’s how you play: There are 16 blocks and you roam around until time runs out. When the time runs out, you’ll be locked into place and the game will choose one block to disappear. If you’re on the disappearing blocks, you fall off and you're out! If you’re the last one standing, you win! Good luck! ===== HOW TO REMIX ===== Want to add a character to this project? Follow these instructions carefully to get them in: 1. See inside the project for the rules and read them. DON'T proceed until you've done this! 2. Click the green "Remix" button at the top-right corner. 3. Create a duplicate of any sprite with "Player" in its name. (right-click the sprite on the sprite list, then click "duplicate") 4. Create your character! Replace every costume in the duplicated sprite with your character, replace all "Voice" sound clips (at the bottom of the sound list) with your character's voice & set their name, number of footstep sounds, walk animation speed, and the footstep rate. 5. Test your project &, if you like the result, either continue to add more characters or share it! 6: You're also allowed to add characters to the thumbnail & add more music tracks. --- ADVICE --- Sometimes, the game can choose more than one color per round, so be aware of that!
Nobody asked for this. Nobody needed this. But I still did it anyway. It all started about 5 months ago when I really wanted to remix this project to add in my own ideas, but during that time it was telling people to stop remixing it because of the popularity. When I saw this, I decided I should try to make the game look better, so it can prove that there are still people who remix AY project properly and correctly. However, during that time, I wasn't super well at coding, so I was only able to add colors. But over the years, I took the time to learn how the blocks and scripts work, and it was that point that I started to add more blocks, different arrangements with the blocks and more characters. However, I got a bit too carried away with this, because the project began to lag with all of the features and characters. I also find it super cringe since most of the characters were requested by kids. I regretted doing that forever, and I stopped working on it. Fast forward to when I remastered "Noggin's Red Light, Green Light REDUX" I was actually proud of the project, because I didn't just add characters or unfair advantages, but I tried to make the project look like the modern AY minigames by . A couple of days after I finished the remaster, I went back to Block Party, and I asked myself if I should give it another shot. I've already done so much in Noggin's Red Light Green Light. And so I did. I attempted to remaster Block Pary again. This time, it uses the player clone engine, so it would save up space. It would also be used to stop kids from making their characters cheating. While I was doing this, I was thinking about how the project will change. I took a look from other AY minigames for ideas. It was quite the slow process, as I was starting over using the original project. But eventually, I decided what I wanted to change in the project for a remaster version. Most of these were taken from these minigames: Colors of Fate Kick Karate Roulette of Trapdoors Shell Shock REDUX When it was finally done, I was actually happy about the result. I took a minigame from 4 years ago, added in some of my own ideas, and turned it into a redux version! I would say this is much better than my first attempt. So now you can sit back, relax, click the green flag and see who will win! Oh, and since this is an AY minigame, I couldn't finish the project without adding characters! I added myself, Sharko, Gina, and Chloe. Barry was also added since he created the original minigame, so he deserves to be included too. As for the original 6 characters, I resprited everyone to match their current designs, and Pocoyo has been changed to use my render. P.S. Since this is a REDUX, the remix number is 0, in case you were all wondering.
