this is my child seagull she wont steal yo chips trust why does she look like peril with a little bit of seawing throw into her- GASPPPP oc headcannon (JOKE) : peril's mother (Kestrel) is related to seagull's mother - Falcon - which means that seagull and peril are related and is also the reason why they look similar :0 /jk oh and also lore drop down here DESCRIPTION: Seagull is brave, loyal and selfless dragon, always worrying about other dragons's safety rather than her own. She blames herself whenever dragons she cares abt get injured or d!es, even if it isn't her fault (explanation in lore). She is a sky-seawing hybrid, in the process, getting her genes mutated in a way that makes her appearance unique. Like her Skywing mother, she can breath fire, but it's only so warm and it comes out in uneven splutters of embers rather than one, consistent flame with a few embers flying here and there. Somehow though, she is still able to control her fire-breathing powers to go in one direction, but it still goes in other directions obviously. Seagull has webbed claws, cyan markings and spine scales like her Seawing father, and also has gills which half work. This means that most of the time, she can breathe underwater, but if she goes into water too quickly, her gills will stop working and will practically drown her unless she gets out of the water. (which Seagull does a lot). Her glowing Seawing scales seem to be animated, since if you see hard enough, you can see little speckles resembling little embers flickering. In short, Seagull's genes are in a mess. SEAGULL'S LORE: Seagull was often resilient as a dragonet. Though her constant judgement and side eyes she got from other dragons as she saundered through Skywing villages, she stayed quiet and was able to not get it to her mind, and not become unhealthily self-concious of her looks. Her parents, a Skywing called Falcon and a Seawing called Poirpose, met on the coast just east of the Skywing palace. They hung out, married and had Seagull in secret, and had a long argument about who would take care of Seagull. Falcon decided to take in Seagull, getting sick of their bickering. Though now not living together, Seagull's parents were able to build a healthy relationship with eachother. Now, back to Seagull, she once eavesdropped that the Queen was gonna k!ll off a firescale dragonet because, uh, (SPOILERS ALERT FOR WOF FANS) a long, long time ago, a royal Seawing dude names Albatross who was an animus went crazy bc the more he used his magic he became more insane. So when the royal Seawings and Skywings has a gathering, Albatross oofed like 2-3 important Skywings with his animus powers and yea :D So now the Skywings became paranoid of animuses (AND firescales) and so oofed them off at a young age, to prevent them from going cray cray. Anyways, Seagull got super peeed off and was able to sneak into the castle, somehow kidnapped the firescale, and not get caught. But, as she was halfway through getting out of the palace, she DID caught by the guards and was imprisoned, with the firescale getting executed. Seagull was then escorted to the Skywing Queen herself. The Queen decided to give mercy on Seagull and not banish her from the kingdom, bc plot armour. Oh, and after the firescale's execution, Seagull now blames herself whenever her friends and loved ones get hurt or d!es, even its not her fault, which is just amazing :3 ----> SARCASM AT LAST SENTENCE FOR BLIND PPL<------
