In "The Machine - Animator vs. Animation 13," the vast majority of the episode is cinematically scored by Scott Buckley. But the soundtrack releases that Scott uploads on YouTube are meant for listening, not reconstruction. Out of curiosity (also for the voiceover), I timed the original score to the episode timeline. And from what we can see, there are plenty of instances when I have to split the track to either squeeze it in or stretch it out. This is because the tracks that Scott gives to Alan Becker's team were almost certainly edited in that sense for better timing in the final episode. Notice how there was one transition in the fight scene track? That's because Scott Buckley's original track was spaced out more, allowing the viewers to experience the full reverb and riser effects in the music. But in the episode, the editors needed to make the music transition into the fight scene track earlier in order for the timing to land correctly. If you read this far into the notes, thank you for your time. If you're here for the music itself, this project does not include that. You can watch the full quality on Scott Buckley's YouTube video: https://youtu.be/Rqrh_1ZxPQY?si=_zuTqps9acYQmJtA But if you want to use the music in your projects or just to download, go here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1204005993/ If you're curious about all the added audio tracks and additional text, that was my additional voice dub of the full episode. It's on both YouTube and Scratch, just split into parts for Scratch. And trust me, I'm pretty sure there's at least one new thing you'll find from the dub if you haven't watched it yet. So, feel free to either watch it on YouTube for the full experience: https://youtu.be/Us5dStUyLf8?si=m6J-UTOX0axkZG1H And here's the Scratch link to the first scene if you can't view it on YouTube: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1364081241 (I put in some music at the beginning that isn't in the YouTube version, so that's something you could look for)
