Today I worked with Pepperoni on trailer loading. We started by walking around the trailer and letting him take a look at it before asking him to step inside. Pepperoni was a little unsure at first and planted his feet, staring into the trailer like it was the most suspicious thing he'd ever seen. After some patience and encouragement, he finally took a few steps forward. Once he got comfortable, I worked on having him walk in and back out calmly a few times. He tried backing out a little faster than I would've liked, but after a couple more attempts he settled down and started listening. By the end, Pepperoni was loading much more confidently and standing quietly inside. Not perfect, but definitely a good step forward!
