Today I worked Cola in the arena. We started with some easy walking to get him warmed up, then moved on to some transitions and changes of direction. Cola was feeling pretty relaxed and listened well, although he couldn't resist being his usual silly self. At one point he got a little too distracted by something outside the arena and tried to investigate instead of paying attention. After getting him focused again, we worked on some circles, trotting, and a few more transitions. He picked everything up quickly and seemed to genuinely enjoy having something new to learn. We finished with a relaxed walk around the arena and a good stretch before calling it a day. Thankfully, he managed to behave himself... at least until he remembered there might be snacks waiting for him somewhere.
