And, the strangest observation of them all, the sounds of.. cheering? Welcome to information + sign-up project for the "SHELLBUG CHAMPIONSHIPS" - An Urchinclan-based Hermit Crab Racing Club created by Fatepaw and her hermit crab, Vandal! Naturally, you may be asking… What about it?: Well! Molded by the ever-competitive mind of Fatekit, "SHELLBUG CHAMPIONS" is an opportunity for cats - ranging, as of now, from kit to apprentice - to take their hermit crabs to the next level! (Naturally, that means making them race for prizes!) This doesn’t just help your cats make connections with their fellow clanmates, bring out their competitive side, and have a bit of fun - this also gives more purpose to owning a hermit crab accessory! (something that I feel has been going unused for way too long) Details: ⛧ You can join this club by simply requesting a roleplay with Fate, or any other member of the group! I don’t bite! ⛧ You need a hermit crab accessory to join - but, given that Fate will referee more than she will race, you can borrow 'Vandal' until you are able to get your own :) ⛧ All competitions occur at night, since hermit crabs are nocturnal animals and are more active during the day (And because Fate is adamant on making the group seem cool and mysterious). ⛧ As of now, there are no specific teams. All hermit crabs that are signed up will be an independent racer, and will have to pick a color of their choice to identify themselves. These colors will be represented by a string that is tied around their shells. ⛧ The ‘shellbugs’ will be racing around a unique track for every meet - one which I will draw for visuals sake - and, depending on participation, they will only race one lap. ⛧ Races will occur on a designated project ⛧ The chances of winning (naturally) depends on the amount of ‘shellbugs’ racing at a time: with two racing making it a (50/50), three making it a (33/33/33), four making it a (25/25/25/25) and so on. ⛧ There are INRP and OORP prizes that you can get for being a winner! INRP prizes for winners are a makeshift crown made of grasses, and!! A single-use piece of seaweed that, when applied to your ‘shellbug’ can heighten their chances of winning a race by 50%!!! Woah!!! You may only get another if you win again, and the effects cannot be stacked.
