Story by me :) Name: Aubrie//Age: 8//She/Her Aubrie grew up with lots of brothers and sisters. She was often lost in the middle of them. Her parents were very busy so she was mostly raised by her older siblings. They would make her do lots of chores she didn’t like and then mostly ignore her Name: Aubrie//Age:13//She/Her Aubrie started acting out to try and get attention, back talking teachers, getting detention, petty theft. Her parents tried to fight back by sending her to an all girls private school where she had to wear dresses and learn about proper etiquette. She hated it and started getting in even more trouble Name: Aubrie//Age:14// He/Him//Trans At the all girls school, Aubrie realizes she isn’t a girl at all. She hates all the girly stuff, and when her period comes she hates it for more than just the pain she thinks. She thinks if she isn’t a girl she must be a boy and starts using he/him pronouns on himself in private. He doesn’t tell anyone though, becuase he didn’t really have anyone to tell. He keeps getting in trouble in school though, no its more like an outlet for his emotions. His parents are furious with him and try to straighten him out. He starts arguing with them all the time, and they punish him further. One time during a huge argument Aubrie screams that he isn’t a girl anyways, so they can’t call him their daughter. His parents are even more mad and send him to his cousin’s house many states away, because they feel he would do better out in the country. Aubrie introduces himself as Austin to his cousin, who is actually very supportive Name: Austin//Age:17//He/They// Trans? Austin is enjoying himself much more at his cousin’s house. He starts to feel like maybe he isn’t a boy, because even though he hates being a girl, he kinda hates being perceived as a boy too. On other notes he gets a crush on a girl named Shelly at his new school. They start hanging out a lot and even though they aren’t officially dating, people start to think they are. Name: Arye//Age: 18//They/Them// Nonbinary lesbian Austin finally gets the nerve and asks Shelly out for real. She accepts and they start dating. He also starts thinking about not being a boy or a girl. He vents to his cousin who tells him about nonbinary, which he thinks is right. He changes his name to Arye and pronouns to they/them. They are really scared to come out to Shelly, in fear she would break up with them. They also graduate high school and start going to the local community college with Shelly. They come out, and she accepts them lovingly.
