Marina's POV: (2 days later) The Grand Fest was almost over, and the results were coming up in a few minutes. Me and Pearlie couldn't contain our excitement! The announcer strode back on stage, and smiled at the roaring adiuence that stood before him. "Squids and Octos! Jeletons and....well everyone, the results are in! I wanna thank everyone for participating in this very excting and fun event!!" The crowd roared again, and I began to feel faint. Come on! I thought. Get to the results! "And now, the moment you've all been waiting for- the RESULTS! In last place, Teeeeeam Future!!!" A small section of the crowd screamed and clapped, and the announcer went on. I could hardly keep from fainting. We weren't last. Could we...maybe....just maybe....be first? "And now, the first place team- TEAM PAST!!!!!!" I felt my heart sink, my vision returned back to me, and a tear fromed in my eyes. We got second. We were SO, so extremely close to first! Callie and Marie skipped unto stage, and smiled at the thunderous roar of applause. Pinkling's POV: I watched as Pearlescent and Marina walked out after team Past. Marina looked upset, Pearlescent looked content. I was happy if she was happy.
