UPDATE | Ride with Rorsach -- Took Rorsach for an evening stroll as the sun was setting. The weather was absolutely beautiful, warm with a slight breeze. I have yet to bring Rorsach down to the actual cross country course as he is quite easy to spook. I used this little ride to desensitize him to riding outside of the arena. Rorsach did much better than expected, only spooking once at a rabbit that hopped out of a bush and ran right across our path. I could definitely feel that he was tense towards the beginning of the ride, but by the end he was perfectly calm. I think it's safe to say we both had fun! I really love getting to enjoy the weather with the horses outside of regular sessions.
