// Reins of Royalty Equestrian Update // ⋆~ Update 28 | Pole-work with Faye ~⋆ Today I grabbed my newest horse, Faye, and brought her out to my arena so we could practice and do some groundwork. When I mounted, she danced away a little, but I got her back under control with ease. We then did a warm up lap and some gait transitions. When I felt we were fully used to each other, I picked up some poles and set them on the ground in a few different positions. She approached the first pole, and as she was going over it, her back foot landed on the pole and she slipped. It didn't take long for her to get her footing back, but when we tried again, she made sure to lift her feet nice and high. Faye did a great job today. We still have a lot of training left to do, but I can tell that she has improved. I am exited to continue her training as a show jumper! - - - Credits Faye: @YourLocalCowgirlNyx Background: @MythopianPegasus edited by me Rider Base: @MythtopianPegasus edited by me Tack: @YourLocalCowgirlNyx Poles: @Stxrry-Nightz- - - -
