The Runaway Chapter 4 Medusa listened to the sound of the slight wind as its breeze blew on her. She just abandoned her failed shelter. It was clear nobody was nearby, so that one guy was just passing by. as she walked through a bush her feet made the twigs snap and the leaves shuffles as she walked. Medusa continued to move. Suddenly A bear appeared in the tree,and started coming for her. Medusa grabbed her chipped Chakrams ready to attack when it got close. Somehow the bear attacked first knocking Medusa to the ground. Medusa lost gripp of one of her charkram it sliding out of her reach. Medusa watched The Black Furry claws of the bear swinging at her. Medusa rolled out of the Claws patch, ending up farther than the fallen Chakram. Medusa didn't have time to get another one. The bear had already turned to Medusa who realized she wouldn't be able to win this fight. Medusa looked at the brown eyes of the bear that stood infront of her. Medusa started to run trying to get away from the bear. Medusa continued to run hoping to escape and not become Bear food. Suddenly Medusa felt claws rip through her flesh of her right arm, The bear had caught up. Medusa could feel the warm wet bl00d on her arm. Medusa grabbed one of her other Chakrams. Without aiming Medusa swung her hand missing the bear by a few inches. Medusa could feel the adrenaline filling her up as she continued to take swings. after what felt like a long time of fighting she realized the bear was winning. She couldn't defeat it. She now had a deep gash on torso that continued to bleed. What was she gona do? Medusa went to run again hoping to get away. The bear was clearly not letting her get away. Was there a place were she could hide were the bear couldn't reach her. She knew they could climb tree's, will be harder to hide. A cave would be too easy for a bear. The bear was gaining on her, she needed to find a way to lose it. She took a sharp turn hoping to be able to get the bear to run off route, it failed. She really needed to get away her cvts were bleeding a little to much. Her arm tingled from the bl00d loss.Medusa took another look behind her the bear was still trailing her. As she ran she wasn't paying attention to the ground tripping on a tree's root. She hit the ground face first. Medusa turned her head to see the black furry bear closing in on her. Im dead Medusa thought watching the bear approach her. The Bear was now standing above her, it drooling from its open mouth, that sharp teeth showed as it bent its head down to take a bite of Medusa. Suddenly the bear stopped moving, even its eyes stopped blinking.The Bear fell on its side a Large Arrow in it. Medusa looked to see who saved her. A figure was standing there holding what looked like a crossbow. "Are you Ok did the bear attack you?" The voice said. "Yeah im fine" Medusa said." Just a few cuts" She added. "That's good do you mind if I check em out" The voice spoke. "Sure, go ahead" Medusa said. The figure walked over to medusa, setting the crossbow on the ground next to her. The Person pulled out a pouch that was full of First aid supplies. The person Tied a wrap just a few inches above were the bear clawed her, "This will slow the bleeding" She said pulling out Bandage wrap. The new person wrapped the wound with the wrap before looking at the wound on her torso. "For your wound on your torso your lucky it didn't go deeper" The person said. "Im glad it didn't" Medusa said. "Do you mind if I take you to a place were you can rest, I dont want you to reopen your wounds while doing what ever" The person said. "Sure! but is it a village?" Medusa asked. "No its not right now im the only one who uses it" the stranger said. Medusa thought about it before awnsering" Ill go"
