A few weeks after arriving at Hogwarts, Rin, Saki, and Fiete headed to the Library. Soon they encountered Natascha. “Aren't you studying?” Natascha asked. “Nope! We'll do it later. We don't have nearly as much catching up to do as *you* do!” said Saki, who was sometimes a bit mean to Natascha. Rin knew Natascha didn't quite understand why, though she suspected it was because Saki's friend Isabelle was also in love with Fiete, and Saki wanted to help her friend win him over. Rin sometimes hoped that Isabelle would win. She wanted to stay friends with Natascha, but she didn’t want her to be a kin of hers. But Natascha was used to being teased by others; she knew that; back in primary school, almost everyone had teased her because she was much smaller than the other kids and had to repeat a grade twice. That was what she told her.
